Welcome to Baymoor
I am a small hobby breeder concentrating on the total Pembroke Welsh Corgi, competing in both conformation and performance events. I obtained my first corgi in 1975, and Nike was both my companion and introduction to the world of dog shows.
Conformation
My conformation highlight came at the 1997 National Specialty, with Ch. Baymoor Intuition, HT going Winners Bitch from the Bred-by-Exhibitor class, to finish her championship and Baymoor Sunchat, HT going Reserve Winners Bitch from the American Bred class. My longtime friend, Patty Gailey, expertly handled "Katie". I was the first breeder/owner to be awarded both Winners Bitch and Reserve Winners Bitch at the same National Specialty.
I have been a member of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America since 1986, and currently serve as statistician for Obedience, Rally, Tracking and Agility as well as the Versatility Coordinator. I am a member of the Lakeshore Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club, Charter Member of Sunshine Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club; and life member of the Welsh Corgi League (UK). I serve on the Board of Directors for the Central Florida Hunter & Jumper Association.
Performance
My herding highlight was in 2009 at the PWCCA National Specialty Herding Trial in Indiana. Ch. Baymoor Divination, CD HSAds MX MXJ NF was High in Trial to finish her Started Duck title. She was also High Scoring Champion and Veteran.
In 2006 at the PWCCA Trial in California, Baymoor Incantation, PT 'Violet' was High In Trial (sheep) from the Started Class at the supported entry trial. The next day at the PWCCA National Specialty Herding Trial, she went Reserve High In Trial.
Having shown my corgis successfully in the breed ring and in every performance event available in AKC, I wish to acknowledge and thank the professional trainers, handlers and friends that have helped my corgis show off their true potential. I treasure the friendships I have made all over the world thru this wonderful breed.
